Gratitude … What Are You Grateful for Today?
The word is talked about a lot these days but what about the feeling behind the word? The power of gratitude is triggered when it is backed with deep feeling. As part of my daily practice to keep my spirit, my energy and my actions in alignment with my intentions and values, I begin each day recognizing what I am grateful for. I share this morning’s list as an example of how to take your list of things and transform them into the feeling of gratitude.
My Family – Ah … I am so blessed to be surrounded by love.
My Friends – who bring laughter and support to my life.
My Business – which allows me to meet and work with the most interesting people and connect with people who are making a difference for themselves and others.
My Health – I am strong and healthy and enjoy the ease of physical movement.
Of course the list could go on and on … I am truly blessed in oh so many ways. (i.e. I am also grateful for my pillow which feels so good!)
You can create an instant shift in your perceptions, your feelings and in turn your actions by taking the time to recognize what you’re grateful for and WHY.
